Order 2 ounce packets or bulk one pound quantities of this special blend of Essiac tea herbs based on the research and documentation of Sheila Snow and Mali Klein in the Essiac trilogy. According to their research and documents obtained from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Rene Caisse considered sheep sorrel roots to be an essential component to the Essiac formula.
For more than 50 years Rene Caisse experimented with cancer patients and laboratory mice using various herbal combinations but she finally decided upon just four herbs for Essiac tea: Burdock root (cut), Sheep Sorrel (whole herb, powdered, including root), Slippery Elm bark (powdered), Turkey Rhubarb root (powdered). Rene Caisse kept her formula secret except for only a handful of people. Dr. Gary Glum then gave this formula to the world after purchasing the formula from one of Rene Caisse's former patients. Later, Rene's best friend, Mary McPherson, recorded a sworn affidavit containing the same four-herb Essiac formula, thereby entering the Essiac formula into the public domain for everyone to use.
We combine organically-grown sheep sorrel with sheep sorrel that we wildcraft by clear waters near the largest wilderness area in the lower 48 states (see picture below). We use whole herb sheep sorrel and we specifically add powdered sheep sorrel roots. All four herbs are double-sourced to help ensure a balance of soil nutrients. We also add small amounts of burdock seed and sheep sorrel seed as recommended in the book ESSIAC ESSENTIALS. Instructions for preparing Essiac tea are included with every Essiac order. All orders within the United States are shipped by Priority Mail (the US Post Office states that Priority Mail takes just 2 to 3 days for delivery in the US but it sometimes takes longer). We normally ship orders within 24 hours or less and we ship on the same day if possible (except for weekends & holidays) in order to get your Essiac tea to you as quickly as possible. Shipping & handling is $8.00 on all US and Canadian orders totaling less than $75.00. Shipping & handling will be added automatically to your order in the shopping cart. International orders: Shipping & handling is automatically added on the PayPal shopping cart for international orders outside of the US. International orders are sent airmail unless special arrangements are made for faster shipping (it's very expensive, though). However, there are no guarantees of delivery time for international orders due to variable factors such as customs. Australian customs will not allow Essiac tea herbs into the country.

All Essiac herbs are organically-grown or wildcrafted. All four Essiac

the mixture more homogenous and therefore easier to use the tea sediment as a

ESSIAC SEED PACKAGE
The Essiac seed package contains the following organically-grown seeds: Sheep Sorrel seeds (rumex acetosella) (Approx. 200 seeds), Burdock seeds (arctium lappa) and Turkey Rhubarb seeds (rheum palmatum tanguticum) (Unfortunately, organically-certified turkey rhubarb seeds are extremely hard to find and are very expensive. Also, the supply available is very limited. Therefore, I can only offer 5 seeds in one seed package. A germination test of 10 seeds resulted in all ten seeds germinating.)
Sheep sorrel, turkey rhubarb and burdock are all easy to grow. They favor a cool, moist climate. Sheep sorrel plants establish themselves and multiply quickly; whereas, sheep sorrel seeds take more care to propagate. Slippery elm is usually wildcrafted because it is not so easy to grow and takes years of growth before you can harvest it. I therefore do not currently offer slippery elm seeds or seedlings. There is no guarantee that you will be successful in germinating and growing these herbs due to the many variables in climate, soil, moisture, season and gardening skills.
